Since 2018, AIFORAIL has built capabilities in positioning, perception, decision and control. Starting with intelligent train obstacle detection, it has developed products and solutions for rail transit, dedicated transport and low-altitude inspection.

Technology Foundation

Company formation, core TIDS development and major project contracts established the rail-transit intelligent-perception technology path.

02SCALE2021—2023

Scaled Deployment

Products achieved scaled deployment across multiple lines and scenarios and evolved from perception alone toward Perception + Control coordination. System-level SIL4 certification laid a foundation for safety-control integration.

03EXPANSION2024—2025

Full-stack Expansion

Intelligent perception and control expanded from trains to engineering vehicles, dedicated transport, trucks, drones and other platforms, forming a cross-industry full-stack technology system.

Company founded and TIDS established

Beijing AIFORAIL Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in July 2018 and incubated by Traffic Control Technology, focusing on core intelligent-perception technologies for rail transit and beginning development of TIDS.

Large-scale project secured

A TIDS project covering 35 trains on Hong Kong's Tsuen Wan Line was contracted. TIDS received SIL2 certification as the product and brand system took shape.

System-level SIL4 certification and portfolio expansion

The ITE Intelligent Train Eye achieved system-level SIL4 certification. The portfolio expanded from TIDS to CIDS, SIDS, GIDS and STS, covering trains, tunnels, stations, doors and car interiors.

Tsuen Wan Line entered driver operation

The Tsuen Wan Line TIDS passed relevant approval and entered driver use. A more complete core product system and R&D-engineering collaboration across Beijing, Chengdu and Shenzhen were established.

2024Sector Expansion

From urban rail to broader mobility

Perception systems continued on lines in Chengdu and Taiyuan. The Taiyuan–Jiaozuo project expanded the business into national mainline rail, followed by industrial rail, shunting yards and tunnel-construction transport.

Confined-space drone system formed

INES airborne navigation, AGS ground station, ARP route planning and bridge/tunnel inspection capabilities were established. EV-IPS expanded in engineering and dedicated transport, creating two-way growth in rail transit and low-altitude inspection.
